Feel helps you improve your mental well-being. The goal of Feel program is to reduce depression, anxiety, and stress. We focus on your specific needs and goals and tailor your program accordingly. Can Feel be used for psychotherapy? Can I use it combined with my psychotherapy treatment?
Feel is a telehealth therapy program designed to help people suffering from anxiety and depression. Feel methodology is based on Evidence-Based Practices in Psychology (EBPP), which are currently being argued on their high efficacy and widely used by therapists globally. The advantage of Feel program is that it relies on objective data – due to innovative emotion recognition technology - and not on self-diagnosis. Therefore, Feel is suitable to be used as a helpful addition to any type of psychotherapy, but we suggest discussing it with your therapist first.
In general, Feel can be used at the same time as medication with the exception of antidepressants or psychiatric medication overall. We suggest discussing with your clinician before using your Feel in combination with your medication.
At Feel Program, we empower our participants to achieve their personal goals via weekly 15-min remote sessions with the licensed Feel therapists. At each session, the therapist helps participants specify the problems they have encountered during the week or that they expect to encounter in the current week. Post session, the therapist assigns exercises (to-do during the week) and tracks the weekly progress.

The Feel Emotion Sensor is equipped with Blood Volume Pressure Sensor, Skin Temperature Sensor, Inertial Measurement Unit (Gyroscope, Accelerometer and Magnetometer), Galvanic Skin Response Sensor and Humidity-Environment Temperature Sensor. The biosensors monitor a variety of physiological signals throughout the day, while in the background, Proprietary Algorithms are able to translate this data into 4 emotional patterns. The mobile application receives the data from the emotion sensor and tracks the emotions of the user, providing personalized recommendations and real-time interventions based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Feel collects physiological data such as electrodermal activity, blood volume pulse, and skin temperature to provide emotion tracking and recognition, as well as measure movement and activity and then translates them into emotional patterns. However, the program focuses on mental health and therefore, although Feel measures both heart rate and steps, it does not share these data with the user.
Do I need to be connected to the Internet for Feel to work? What else do I need?
Feel transfers the data collected from the Wristband to the Application via Bluetooth. Your phone needs to be close to the Wristband in order to transfer the collected data, and connected to the Internet for the data to be uploaded and processed. However, if either connection fails, the data will be transferred easily once the connection returns.
In order for Feel to be beneficiary to the maximum, we recommend that you keep your phone close by and connected to the Internet as much as possible, in order to provide real-time emotion recognition and intervention and to help you achieve your emotional well-being goals.
Academic research in major Universities such as MIT has proven that by using specific techniques on a series of bio-signals, we can accurately predict emotional states. In a variety of publications, the highest accuracy comes from features extracted from Skin Conductance (SC), Electromyography (EMG), Blood Volume Pulse (BVP), Skin Temperature (ST) and Respiration bio-signals. In our approach, we are using SC, BVP, ST bio-signals and IMU (Gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer) measurements to enhance the classification process.
